Chris "TUC0" Wright, Leadership Keynote Speaker
Book a Leadership Keynote Speaker

For over two decades, Chris Wright has led people through high-stakes environments where the cost of poor leadership isn't measured in quarterly numbers — it's measured in lives. A retired U.S. Air Force Special Warfare officer with 20 years of service, 19 of them in combat operations, Chris built his leadership philosophy inside some of the most demanding organizations in the military, and he has spent the years since translating those lessons for schools, nonprofits, and ministries navigating their own high-stakes seasons of growth.
Chris's military career reads like a study in what happens when a leader is trusted with more responsibility than seems reasonable — and delivers. He commanded the 353rd Special Warfare Training Squadron, ranked #1 among 21 squadron commanders, where he built a school of 71 staff training 625 students annually, secured $10.7M in federal funding, and managed $30M in facilities. As Director of Operations for the 17th Special Tactics Squadron, he directed 82 personnel and $39M in training events across 1,200 missions worldwide — again ranked #1 among his peers. He closed out his military career as Chief of Staff for a Joint Inter-Agency Task Force in the National Capital Region, managing a $13M budget and briefing senior officials up to the Pentagon and Department of State.
When Chris transitioned out of uniform, he brought the same operational discipline to education and organizational leadership. He served as Assistant Headmaster, Athletic Director, and Dean of Students at Ascent Classical Academy in Colorado, then as Executive Director of Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy, a top 1%-ranked public charter school in North Carolina, leading over 220 employees serving 1,400 students.
Today, Chris serves as Vice President of Operations for Leading The Way, the global ministry of Dr. Michael Youssef, where he oversees Human Resources, IT, facilities, security, and broadcast operations that carry biblical teaching to millions of people across the 10/40 Window — including regions where access to Scripture is otherwise scarce. Before stepping into that role, he directed AWAKE America, a national evangelistic outreach ministry, leading events with local churches and thousands of community members for worship and Gospel proclamation.
Chris shares what he's learned — the wins and the hard lessons alike — as host of TUC0's Leadership Talks, a podcast exploring empathetic leadership, failing forward, and how senior leaders can lead well without losing themselves or their families in the process.
Through Wright Legacy Solutions, Chris now works with organizations and leaders who are ready to build stronger teams, sharper systems, and cultures people actually want to be part of. Drawing on lessons forged in combat, the classroom, and the boardroom, he speaks and coaches on leadership development, organizational management, and operational excellence — helping leaders turn complexity into clarity and potential into performance. As a leadership keynote speaker, Chris brings these same lessons to conference stages, corporate retreats, and leadership summits nationwide.
Chris holds a Master of Education in Teaching and Instruction (Summa Cum Laude) and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration from Samford University, where he also played Division I football and served as Cadet Wing Commander in Air Force ROTC.
